Event Guidelines

Below are the guidelines that all the Green Capture Competitors should adhere to.
  • 01.
    Only NSBM Undergraduates and NSBM Alumni are eligible to participate to this Competition.
  • 02.
    Only one participant is eligible to get registered under one category. (Either Mobile Photography Category or DSLR Category)
    • [+] Mobile Category → Landscape, Macro, Art
    • [+] DSLR Category → Wildlife, Night, Landscape
  • 03.
    Must adhere to the below submission guidelines.
    • [+] Each Participant can submit 03 Photographs related to the sub-categories of their selected category.
    • [+] File names should be renamed to Your firstname_category_subcategory_nsbmID (e.g., shaveen_dslr_landscape_24568).
    • [+] All entries must be original works and not previously submitted elsewhere.
    • [+] Digital submissions only, in JPEG or PNG format.
    • [+] Please make sure to upload only one image per subcategory, avoiding multiple images for a single subcategory.
    • [+] Please upload all of the photographs to OneDrive, adhering to the proper rename conventions as mentioned above, and ensure that the link provides 'Access to Everyone'.
  • 04.
    Below Technical Specifications should be followed by the Participants.
    • [+] Mobile category submissions: Minimum resolution of 1080x1920 pixels.
    • [+] DSLR category submissions: Minimum resolution of 3000x2000 pixels.
    • [+] No watermarks or signatures should be visible on the photographs.
  • 05.
    Judgement is carried out under the following criteria.
    • [+] Creativity and originality
    • [+] Adherence to the theme
    • [+] Technical skill and composition
    • [+] Overall impact and emotional resonance.
  • 06.
    The most popular photograph of each category will be selected through Facebook voting.
  • 07.
    The most talented photographs of each category will be selected by the judge panel.

    • All participants must adhere to the above mentioned competition rules and regulations. Any violation may lead to disqualification.
